talkin bout mah generation
Stuart Smalley was an ass, and a hilarious one.
His diapered run on SNL was legendary.
Comedians are often incorrect to get a laugh.
Franken was a comedian on tour in this picture from 2006.
Idiotic, right?
Senator Al Franken left all that boorish stuff behind.
Since his election he’s been an activist for Democratic good.
But our culture has reached a place where Franken’s jokes
and Weinstein’s rapes are now the same.
Berkeley students demand they are entitled to safe rooms because they can’t bear to hear opposing thought.
That's where we are.
That's where we are.
If an old comedy career is seriously held to the standards of the United States Senate, we have deeper generational problems than we know.

Ms. MoneyPenny?
U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin is worth a pretty penny.
He’s not one to nickel and dime in the care and feeding
of his trophy wife, either.
They’ve been in the public eye for the past four quarters
since Trump’s election.
His wife Louise Linton misstepped a few months back when she wore top dollar fashion while flying in taxpayer funded jets.
So the $64,000 question is whether they’ve made another mistake
posing with his first-run, signature bills.
She does look like a million dollars.
But also a character from a James Bond film.

politics is easy, showbiz is hard
I’ll do funny things if you want me too
I’m your puppet.
Make me do right.
Or make me do wrong.
I’m your puppet.

amen to that
It’s not often I agree with Pope Francis on anything.
But earlier this year he asked:
His question was in response to parishioners filming his masses,
something he finds disrespectful and distracting.
something he finds disrespectful and distracting.
Francis also warns of information overload:
Put your phone down.
