It’s Friday night and time for a drink or three,
but I’m afraid we are on the wrong side of the pond!
The “Best Bar in the World” is, in fact, in London, England.
Located in the spectacular Langham Hotel in Marylebone,
the “Artesian” has won this honor for the last three years running in a row.
What makes it so great?
Well, start with an interior so tony it might make you wish your clothing was bespoke and not off the rack.
Then layer on superb service within a succulent lavendar leather atmosphere.

And then offer a range of custom cocktails so outrageously creative one of them comes in a wooden box that’s full of smoke.
The food is just as insane.
Our sushi came scooped into sugar cones!
As you might expect, four drinks and a quality nosh will set you back the downpayment on a very nice car.
But hey.
It’s Friday night.

inconvenient truth
Hillary Clinton is a big supporter of women who have been sexually assaulted, and her webpage wants you to know it.
But then Juanita Broaddrick reemerged.
Broaddrick, along with other women accused Bill Clinton of raping her in 1978, but apparently Hillary doesn’t believe in Juanita’s rights.
The quote on her webpage has been quietly taken down.
Now there’s Clintonian integrity for ya!
