Inside a plastic bag.

Inside cardboard with a clear plastic bubble.

Inside a styrene 10 pack.

The actual blades were inside a black plastic cartridge.

This blade was the original. No waste at all.

The “disposable” blade came later, in 1881.

These came from Amazon in five layers of disposable packaging.
