extended pinky finger

Mayfair is an exclusive area of west London holding the city’s highest concentration of 5-Star hotels.

The Queen’s grocer, Fortnum and Mason is here, and the rents are among the highest in the world.

It takes its name from the May Fair in the 1600’s,
on the site of what is now the Shepherd Market.

One of my favorite London bars, Ye Grapes has a peat fire in winter and my personal bottle of scotch under the bar since the mid 1990’s.

The Burlington Arcade features the world’s most expensive luxury brands, including the famous Manolo Blahnik shoe line.

Today Mayfair is so wealthy it needs no undergound (subway) stop, and the London buses don’t run through because no one who lives there would ever, actually ride them.

Quiet. Private. Meticulously clean.

"Yes sir, officer, I'll move along right now."
