the original rice burner

The British bike industry was in its heyday back in 1969, the year Honda launched their 4-cylinder invasion.

See the lineage?

This Honda was the first bike with four small cylinders instead of two larger ones, so the lighter head weight could spin up into the stratosphere.

Honda sales took over by ’72, the year of the race bike in the photos.

British brands Norton Triumph and BSA never fully recovered.
It was a changing of the guard.

So it’s no wonder racing enthusiasts have taken this iconic motorbike to the track.

Every bit as much fun as it looks!
