together and polished

Back in Summer I stripped a mid-century child’s desk to get it ready for refinish. You can see more about that here:

Briwax is a “50/50 finish”; 50% carcinogens and 50% stain and furniture beeswax.

But dry wood really loves it.
After a hard buff it was time to install the electrics.

For a modern charging station, the cables had to make their way through the back wall of the desk.

That’ll do it!

Time to put it back together.

The charger bricks are concealed, hung on the back.

Sore shoulders and upper arms, sure, but Newel Gallery says the finished piece is now worth over $2000.00.

Would you live differently if you couldn’t buff your history?
