just in time

Remember bandleader Michael Arenella?

He’s the history buff and founder of the Jazz Age Lawn Party we attended last summer on Governor’s Island:

Last evening he and a select group of musicians launched their new cd “Just in Time” with two sets at the Clarkson Restaurant, in Greenwich Village.

We slurped raw oysters and crunched calamari,
swilled down with chilled rosé and icy prosecco.

He crooned hits from the 1920’s like

It was a good time!

The windows were open and the smell of city rain passed through and for an hour Clarkson felt like a old speakeasy.

We are attending the lawn party again, on June 13th.

Anyone know where I can find a good vintage skimmer?
