The talking E-Trade baby debuted in 2008 during the Super Bowl.
Online trading was still fairly new, and the concept was
“so easy a baby could do it.”

A 5 year old’s mouth was Photoshopped to synch with comedian Pete Holmes’ voice.
But flash forward and now Manolo Gonzalez, the real life baby, is entering the second grade.
Easy, online investing is everywhere so it was time for the baby to retire.
He blames a cat.
