and the internet you rode in on

People are still ripping music and so recording artists are trying to survive through streaming services now.

Monthly minimum wage is $1160, $290 a week.

To earn that a Rhapsody artist needs 127,427 plays per month. That’s 4,247 plays a day. Every day.

On Spotify it’s worse, you need 232,000 streams for minimum wage. Why are professional musicians even trying this?

Because they are desperate.
This is what their “fans” have left them.

Stealing a copy of a product instead of buying it is
modern innovation, don’t you know.

If you take music intended for sale and enjoy it without paying

You drain the life from the arts we love
for your selfish, personal gain.

You suck.
