Oh Tannenbaum, oh Tannenbaum

A quick search for “live Christmas tree South Bronx” brought back exactly zero results.

Zero! Oh noes!
The closest tree stand is in Manhattan, at 124th and Madison, on the northeast corner of the Marcus Garvey Park. Whoa.

Well okay then, let’s do this! We walked one home from there.

Considering the cost of live trees these days, it’s not actually the Gopher who is going broke.

But this is a really nice tree stand, with huge, gorgeous, inexpensive trees.

Loft ceiling height is tempting, but I couldn’t even begin to lift it. lol

So with common sense prevailing….off we went, across Park Avenue to Third…

then up Third Avenue and across the bridge…

To Bruckner and Lincoln… and home.

Warmth! Lunch! Yayyyy….let’s get to it!

Fall on your knees, SoBro! Oh hear the angels voices!
