according to poplar opinion

When the stresses of urban life get to us,
New Yorker’s grow neurosis.

But when trees are distressed they grow knotty bumps
under their bark called “burl”.

Burl is fairly rare and creates beautiful grain patterns.

So naturally we cut it down.

And kill it.

And turn it into all kinds of cool stuff.
