generation gap2

Or at least so says HUMBLE Kendrick Lamar, at the top of his game and at the top of the “music” industry in 2017.

Music is largely rhythm today, words in cadence now define most of the genre.

Before rap, music was melodious and harmonious, too, with chord progression, denouement and conclusion.

This is “Warmth of the Sun” by the Beach Boys.

It’s what used to be called a “love song”.

The lyrics seemed nicer in 1964, too.
Or maybe it's just me.
