Security firm SEMANTIC has confirmed hackers have gained access to American electrical grid infrastructure.

The hackers are believed to be based in Russia. 

They now lie in wait for the right time.

According to WIRED, power grid experts conclude the hackers now control “switch flipping” capabilities.
