they don’t get more special than this


Glen Tonche is the name of the compound.


Allaire is the name of the recording studio.


I just thought, “ho-lee-smokes!”


The road up the mountain is ridiculous, 
but once you are up here you’ll understand why.


This was built as the summer family compound for the
 Pittsburgh Plate Glass fortune.



It’s been sitting on 22 pristine acres of rocky outcroppings
 since 1928.



Bowie recorded an album here and returned 
2 years later to do another.


Nora Jones recorded “Come Away with Me”, here.


Natalie Merchant was also here with her 10,000 Maniacs.


The BBC named Allaire Studios one of the
"10 most stunning places to make music.”


It’s a fantastic venue for a special event.
