it's “Everywhere you want to be”

Last year 85,000 American jobs were lost to H-1Bs visas.

The H-1Bs visa is an approval to work in this country by someone with a specialized skill like a software engineer.

But the visa is being used as a cynical work-around,

to take jobs to other countries.

Consider California Pacific Gas and Electric.

First, they use the visa to bring in new immigrants.

American workers are threatened with layoff

 unless they train the new immigrants. 

So they do.

The immigrants are then sent back to India to train locals 

so the jobs can be eventually outsourced.

And then the American workers get laid off anyway.
