heartbreak hotel

AirBnB appears to have sold out their local hosts,
agreeing to help the New York City Department of Buildings
locate rentals as long as prosecutors only fine the hosts and not the company itself.

They put themselves into a tough negotiating position by cheating on the data a New York Court ordered them to release to New York City.

Now each AirBnB rental warrants a $1000 fine that can rise to $7500 over time.
