After nearly 80 years of negotiation, the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists finally merged in 2012.

This has granted them greater clout as a union.

Where have they turned their attention?

SAG-AFTRA has successfully lobbied for a law that will permit actors to conceal their age. 


IMDB is refusing to do it
 and will fight this law in court.
