Gliding along the East River is becoming a tour 

in Manhattan real estate development!

Some views remain the same, 

but many now feature some sort of crane. 

Or new a highrise underway in construction.

616 First Avenue is a new pair of luxury residential rentals

 in the east 30’s.

They are reminiscient of the “Fred and Ginger” towers in Prague, a great example of deconstructivism.

Designed in part by Frank Gehry, the “Dancing House” is a clear inspiration to the 616 Towers, even incorporating the mid-level sky bridge.

Fred Astaire was one of the best dancers ever, but Ginger Rodgers did the same steps backwards and in heels!
