Surveillance is sadly everywhere now, just a part of modern life.
But cameras can be noticed and are sometimes prone to fail.
More effective to make it normal and no cost to put everything that was private out in public for all to see.

A black box is installed at the bottom of the stairs.
It’s a free wifi hub,
a way to stay connected when we are underground.
Of course nothing is truly free.
This convenience comes at the cost of law enforcement monitoring everything we say and do inside the MTA.
But that violates our privacy, right?
