If you’ve ever been on a flight that tries to loft or land in gusty crosswinds, you know how white-knuckle it can be.
The Atlantic posted a great video today of
“what an autopilot could never do.”
No kidding.
Shot last winter at the Birmingham, England Airport, these take-off’s, landings and last second ditch-and-aborts are in turbulence nightmares are made of.
It’s upsetting. But impressive. And just terrifying.
Here’s a spoiler, they all make it up or down safely.
