NYC’s got Hudson Heights, Washington Heights, we even have University Heights here in the Bronx.
Our hometown is anything but flat.
The century-old stone embankment at the Overlook Terrace is an impressive engineering achievement dating back to the 1920’s.
It buttresses the foundations of large apartment buildings balanced on top.
And it creates a walkway over a steep overhang.
It’s cool, and it’s wa-a-ay up there.
If you’re on 187th in Manhattan, don’t overlook it.
