More than 120 Firefighters tried to save the fabeled City Island Tony’s Pier Restaurant last Monday.
Sandy dropped high voltage wires on the roof and sparked the blaze.
Every New Yorker knows you go to the very end of City Island Avenue where the water starts and you’ll find Tony’s on the right.
I can’t remember my first time there. Decades ago.
I took these photos this past Summer.
The sea gulls must be distraught.
