“I got to stay out of trouble with the law.”

TNB (currently The Nasty Boyz) was a Bronx graffiti crew founded in Yonkers around 1980.

One of the original crew members was a boy named Julius Cavero whose Father was an immigrant from Peru and his Mother an immigrant from Puerto Rico.

He was tall and thin like a “T”  and the name stuck,
 ”Terrible TKid.”

At different times in its history TNB stood for The Neck Breakers (“cuz that's what we did to people.”) and The Nations Best.

TKID’s reputation for bombing quickly spread as he began to tag the IRT 1-2-3-4-5 and 6 trains in the Bronx.

To BOMB
Prolific painting or marking with ink. To cover an area with your tag, etc.

To TAG
The most basic form of graffiti, a writer's signature with marker or spray paint.

But TKID had real talent and soon he moved on to “piecing” buildings in the South Bronx.

A PIECE
A graffiti painting, short for masterpiece, generally agreed to take significant time and have at least three colors.

TKID, now 50 years old, is also a member of the famous MAC crew in Paris, France.
