no triangles here

Last Summer, Maffei’s Pizza set loose a red, $1 pizza truck on the streets of Manhattan.
I caught up with it last week on 14th Street, covered in graffiti.
Their tomato, oregano and cheese version is called a “GrandMa” slice, and it’s only a buck.

A traditional Grandma slice places the cheese first so it’s under the tomatoes and is served on a rectangular crust. Like Sicilian.

So naturally, I got a slice. Very good at any price,
amazing at only a dollar.
